Costa restarts operations in Italy with Costa Deliziosa

In consideration of the current uncertainty with regards to COVID-19 restrictions in the coming weeks, Costa Crociere has decided to cancel the departure of its cruises originally planned from January 7 to January 31st.

Costa will resume operations on January 31st with Costa Deliziosa. The Italian cruise line will offer guests the opportunity to visit the most beautiful Italian locations with the same itinerary originally planned for Costa Smeralda, with mini-cruises of 3 and 4 days, in addition to the 7-days program.

The company applied these changes to its planned cruise programs, with the aim of preserving the best possible cruise experience for its guests.

The decision to operate the Costa Deliziosa will allow greater itinerary flexibility to respond to any changes in the local COVID-19 scenario while maintaining a unique and exclusive cruise experience on board one of the most beautiful and welcoming ships of Costa fleet.

Following this decision Costa Smeralda will pause for a few weeks. New plans for the ship will be communicated shortly.
