Explora Journeys has apointed Christopher Austin as President North America. Austin will be based in Miami.
Christopher Austin started his career at Explora Journeys in November 2020 as Chief Sales Officer. Previously, he served in leadership roles in hospitality for nearly three decades, including Senior Vice President Global Marketing & Sales at Seabourn Cruise Line and Vice President Global Luxury & Leisure Sales for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide (now owned by Marriott International).
In his new role, Austin will be responsible for Explora Journeys’ entire North American market, which includes the United States, Canada and Mexico. His new role reflects his extraordinary commitment over the past few years, which he has demonstrated since November 2020 in building the cornerstones of the Explora Journeys brand. Chris’ tireless efforts, passion and strategic vision have been instrumental in sharpening the brand’s identity and driving its growth globally and in the North American region. Under his leadership, Explora Journeys will solidify its brand presence and deliver unparalleled experiences to discerning travelers in these key markets.
