Costa Cruises presents new Cruise & Golf offer as partner of the Ryder Cup 2023

On the occasion of the highly awaited Ryder Cup 2023, Costa cruises has presented its Cruise & Golf offer. The offer allows guests to enjoy a cruise on Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda and play in some of the most prestigious golf clubs in the Mediterranean and the UAE.

The Ryder Cup 2023, the most important international team golf competition is taking place, for the first time in its history, in Italy, at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, just outside Rome. In this sporting event, one of the most watched in the world, the selection of the best US players and the best European players will compete in an unrivalled contest.

Costa Cruises, the Official Cruise Line of the competition, is attending the 2023 Ryder Cup with its own dedicated space inside the Ryder Cup Village where it’s proposing a real putting challenge, during which visitors are able to challenge themselves, identifying with the European and American champions who take the field in the Ryder Cup.

During the Ryder Cup, Costa Cruises also offers its Cruise & Golf package, confirming itself as the perfect company for those who are passionate about golf. Cruise & Golf allows guests to enjoy a magnificent cruise aboard Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda, the most innovative ships in the fleet, and, during the two ships’ calls, to play at some of the most prestigious golf clubs in the Mediterranean and the United Arab Emirates. This type of experience is also perfect for small groups of golfers who can play together and share their passion.

In particular, when cruising in the Mediterranean on Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana guests can choose up to 4 of the 24 best itineraries in Italy, France and Spain, such as the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, home of the 2023 Ryder Cup, the Circolo del Golf Roma Acquasanta, the Golf Club Garlenda in Savona, the Golf Club Genova Sant’Anna, the Real Club de Golf El Prat in Barcelona, the Son Gual Golf in Palma de Mallorca, and the Golf Bastide de la Salette in Marseille. While with the Costa Toscana, during the coming winter, you will be able to discover up to 4 of the 15 most famous international golf clubs in the Arab Emirates, Oman and Doha, such as the Emirates Golf Club or The Els Club in Dubai, the Abu Dhabi Golf Club and Yas Links Golf Club in Abu Dhabi, the Almouj Golf Club and the Ghala Golf Club in Muscat, and the Doha Golf Club.

Cruise & Golf is designed to combine the passion for golf with the unique pleasure and relaxation typical of a Costa cruise, allowing guests to enjoy a true easy golf experience, complete with a range of amenities for comfort and fun. As part of these comforts, guests will be provided transfer from the ship to the golf club and back, priority embarkation and disembarkation at the beginning and end of the cruise, insurance and onboard storage of golf equipment, and a welcome kit in the cabin.

In addition, there is a special dedicated offer for golfers to enjoy the exceptional variety of restaurants available on Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana – including the Archipelago restaurant, which offers menus designed for Costa by three great chefs, Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze, and Ángel León – and to try a range of selected treatments and services in the Solemio spa and beauty salon on board.

The Cruise & Golf package is available on Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana until early spring 2024, after which it will only be available on board Costa Toscana. Until late winter 2023/2024 Costa Smeralda will offer one-week Mediterranean cruises, with calls in Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Palermo, and Civitavecchia. In winter 2023/2024, Costa Toscana will offer one-week cruises in the Arabian Gulf, visiting Dubai (UAE), Abu Dhabi (UAE), Doha (Qatar), and Muscat (Oman). From spring 2024, Costa Toscana will return to the Mediterranean for one-week cruises to Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca (Ibiza during the summer), Palermo, and Civitavecchia.
