Costa Cruises seduces with new and exciting cruise itineraries

Between April 2021 and April 2022 Costa Cruises is introducing five new major cruises from the Mediterranean to New York and reopening routes to Morocco, Israel and Turkey. Furthermore Costa Smeralda will spend the winter in Dubai while Costa Diadema will visit Northern Europe in summer.

Costa Cruises is seducing new and seasoned cruisers by introducing some new and exciting offers to its already impressive program. In particular, the Italian cruise line is extending its offer in the Mediterranean with a range of routes that meet the different expectations of passengers, whether in terms of duration or destinations.

Costa Luminosa: five major cruises from Savona and Marseille for winter 2021/2022

The first and third of these cruises, lasting 31 and 22 days, will provide a real overview of the Mediterranean, from Spain to Turkey, with two-day stops in Haifa (Israel ) and Istanbul (Turkey). The second cruise, lasting 14 days, will take place during the Christmas period and will offer stops in Corsica, Spain (Barcelona, Valencia), Malta and Greece. The fourth cruise, lasting 35 days, will extend beyond the columns of Hercules for long stops in Casablanca, Canary Islands, Cape Verde, Madeira, Azores and Lisbon. The last major cruise, lasting 44 days, will set sail for the Caribbean and New York, where the ship will stop for three days, before visiting Boston and returning to Europe.

Morocco makes its return

With regard to new destinations, Morocco is making its comeback among the regular ports of call in the Costa program. In spring 2021 Costa Magica will set sail to Casablanca and tangier, in autumn 2021 Costa Favolosa will stop in Casablanca.

Costa Smeralda to Dubai and the Middle East

From April to the end of October 2021, Costa Smeralda, the cruise line’s new flagship powered by liquefied natural gas, will be stopping at Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Palma De Mallorca, Palermo and Civitavecchia (Rome). During the winter of 2021/2022, Costa Smeralda will be positioned for the first time in Dubai, a destination that the Italian company was the first to launch in 2006. The weeklong itinerary is an ideal way to enjoy Dubai during a 2-day stopover, after visiting Abu Dhabi, Doha and Muscat.

The 10 and 11-day routes of Costa Smeralda to Dubai are guaranteed to make for unforgettable Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Costa Fortuna: mini-cruises for newbies

Costa Pacifica will offer one-week cruises putting Spain in the foreground. Departing from Genoa, these cruises will include a stop in Ibiza during the summer season. In spring and autumn, Costa Fortuna will offer a wide selection of mini-cruises ideal for travelers who want to explore cruising. Costa will also offer weeklong sailings in the eastern Mediterranean out of Venice and Bari.

Turkey and Israel in two weeks aboard Costa Diadema

In Spring 2021, Costa Diadema will offer one-week cruises in the Western Mediterranean, in autumn and winter she will sail 2-week cruises which include two-day stops in Haifa (Israel) and Istanbul (Turkey).

A reinforced offer in Northern Europe: Fjords, Iceland, United Kingdom, Ireland, North Cape…

In the summer of 2021, Costa Diadema will strengthen Costa’s offer in Northern Europe. In total Costa will have four ships sailing guests to discover the Norwegian Fjords, Iceland, United Kingdom, Ireland, Cape North and the most beautiful Baltic cities.

For a long break: Costa’s 2022 cruise around the world

Costa Cruises’ 2022 world cruise, on board Costa Deliziosa, will cross the Panama Canal to reach Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Easter Island, Polynesia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and India, before heading back to the Mediterranean through the Suez Canal.

The 2021/2022 winter program will also include cruises sailing to the most beautiful destinations of the Caribbean and South America. The cruises aboard Costa Toscana (LNG), twin ship of the Costa Smeralda that will enter service in 2021, will be announced in the coming weeks.
