Friendsgiving is a spin-off of America’s time honored thanksgiving, but celebrated with friends and without all the formalities.

The newest trend in holiday celebrations was taken to a whole new level on board the world’s largest adventure-packed cruise ship during an exclusive cruise complete with custom Friendsgiving menus, cocktails and entertainment.

The Friendsgiving celebration started with a new signature cocktail the Amiga Margarita.

The Amiga Margarita, or Cranberry Margarita, is made with the following ingredients: 2oz tequilla, 0,75oz fresh lime juice, 2 bar spoons of cranberry sauce or jam and 1 bar spoon of honey. Combine all the ingredients in  a mixing tin and shake before straining the mix into a brown sugar rimmed Martini glass. Finish off with a lime wheel as garnish et voilà… the perfect Amiga Margarita.

Guests were treated to a Friendsgiving feast prepared by Royal Caribbean’s culinary team that included an array of menu items with a seasonal twist, such as pumpkin soup with crispy pancetta, turkey empanadas, crispy chicken with fresh cranberry sauce, sweet potato fries, and of course a variety of desserts including old fashion pecan pie with salted caramel sauce.
