This summer sees the return of the full entertainment programme on board MSC Cruises. With abundant and varied activities and events from morning to night there will once again never be a dull moment at sea. The return of Gala Night is set to be the highlight of every cruise.
Gala Night has always been one of the most anticipated events of a cruise with MSC Cruises and this summer the cruise line is relaunching the popular night. Gala Night will once again give guests the perfect excuse to don their favourite elegant outfit and join officers and crew for stylish events and exciting activities throughout the ship. The return of the most extravagant night of the cruise will include special dining experiences, unique performances, exclusive photo opportunities and memorable parties.

The relaunch of Gala Night will feature a programme of celebratory events including elevated dining experiences, special spa offerings and photo opportunities that surprise and delight. Here are some of the highlights:
- Pampering Services and Special Shopping Events – Special spa services will be available on Gala Night for guests to pamper themselves and prepare for the elegant events of the evening. The shops and boutiques on board will also host a Sparkle with Swarovski Glamour event showcasing unique jewelry pieces that will be available for guests to purchase and help commemorate the most extraordinary night onboard. After pampering themselves and dressing up, there will be plenty of photo opportunities throughout the ship for guests, including the chance to get a professional photo as a memento of the evening – either with the Captain or on the glamourous Swarovski stairs.
- Upscale Dining Experiences – A Captain’s Welcome Cocktail and presentation will kick off the evening, honouring the crew and kicking off a night of celebratory events. After the Welcome Cocktail, a special Gala Dinner menu will be served in the main restaurant, giving guests an opportunity to toast to their waiters. The dinner will include live entertainment, a special dessert offering and a special thanks from the Captain to the dining staff.
- Theatre Show and Entertainment – The best production show of the cruise will take place on Gala Night, offering an awe-inspiring event for guests. Along with the show, live music will be available in various venues and activities throughout the ship will be scheduled to complement the evening. In addition to the return of Gala Night, MSC Cruises’ world class daily entertainment options are back in full force, rounding out the cruising experience for all ages.
A full and enriching programme of entertainment across the fleet this summer
This summer you can enjoy fun in the sun with increased capacity at the aqua parks, pool games and sports tournaments. While the return of a wide range of entertainment programming from live music to grand-scale theatrical shows will create an exciting experience onboard. At night celebrations and dancing are also back with the re-opening of the disco and a full live music programme.
In addition to Gala Night other iconic MSC-themed evenings will return in all their glory. Look forward to dance the night away during the popular White Party, Sunshine Party, Retro Party and many more. The parties are part of the 16 hours of entertainment each day and more than 200 activities to choose from during a cruise.
Starting this summer the Kids’ Clubs have also extended their opening times, allowing young guests to enjoy lunch with the Youth/Kids Teams and parents to leave kids in the clubs to get off the ship again.
