The Evolution of Crystal luxury

Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity – the renowned luxury ships of Crystal – will each receive a multi-million transformation giving them more innovative dining options, more state-of-the-art technologies, spacious new suites and penthouses.

This year Crystal Symphony’s Seabreeze Deck 9 will welcome two new suite categories – Seabreeze Penthouse Suites and Seabreeze Penthouses – each offering the same square footage as the ship’s current penthouse categories, but with cutting-edge enhancements that herald of things to come: large, luxury showers with body jets instead of bathtubs, and a unique entryway connecting two Seabreeze Penthouses to create a seamless, accommodation for families and friends. In total Crystal Symphony will offer 12 new Seabreeze Penthouse Suites and 28 new Seabreeze Penthouses.

Next year several staterooms onboard Crystal Serenity will be converted to the ship’s spacious Penthouse and Penthouse Suite categories. After her transformation Crystal Serenity will offer 2 new Penthouse Suites with Verandah and 36 new Penthouses with Verandah.

With the conversion of standard staterooms to penthouses, guest capacity will be reduced aboard both ships: from 922 to 848 guests on Crystal Symphony, and from 1,070 to 980 guests on Crystal Serenity.

The Evolution of Crystal Luxury promises more dining experiences to tempt the most discriminating palates, with the added luxury of menu enhancements.

The Lido Café will be transformed into Marketplace, a fresh and friendly venue for breakfast and lunch, with an open kitchen preparing made-to-order favorites. At night Marketplace transforms into Churrascaria, a Brazilian steakhouse offering succulent cuts, ceviches, tapas and more.

Also new is the al fresco dining in Silk. In the morning Silk will offer authentic delicacies such as dumplings, porridge, and savory crepes while dim sum, noodles and soups will be on the menu for lunch followed by a dinner menu of tantalizing family-style sharing plates at night.

Crystal is evolving the personal travel experience to greater realms with a number of exciting high-tech features.

State-of-the-art new technology will include SpeedNet accelerators that will double satellite speed, allowing for free, unlimited Wi-Fi. The elevated digital experience also debuts Crystal Connect, an exclusive internet portal and digital app featuring the ship’s daily newsletter and Newspaper Direct (international news services) and access to bookings for spa appointments, Crystal Adventures shore excursions and more.

New 42 inch interactive televisions will offer current movies and popular TV-series and allow guests to order room service. New streaming video will allow guests to view the programs on their personal devices troughout the ship.

Guests will be able to enjoy the new Crystal Symphony from October 21, 2017 and Crystal Serenity from November 10, 2018 respectively.
