Princess Cruises is preparing a series of holiday sailings for the 2026-27 season, combining Christmas and New Year celebrations with cruises to destinations including Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico and the Panama Canal.
The holiday program covers sailings from Thanksgiving through New Year and includes themed entertainment, seasonal activities and festive menus across the fleet. Among the scheduled departures are a seven-day Mexican Riviera cruise aboard Discovery Princess from Los Angeles from November 21 to 28, 2026, and a 12-day Panama Canal, Costa Rica and Caribbean holiday voyage aboard Caribbean Princess from December 17 to 29.
Other options include a six-day Eastern Caribbean cruise aboard Regal Princess from December 20 to 26, including a visit to Celebration Key, and a 16-day Hawaiian Islands holiday voyage aboard Ruby Princess, sailing roundtrip from San Francisco from December 26, 2026, to January 11, 2027.
“ The magic of the holidays at sea begins the moment guests pack their bags,” said Denise Saviss, Princess Cruises Vice President of Entertainment. “From tree lighting festivals to holiday music filling our decks, our sparkling ships and holiday festivities are rooted in tradition and filled with shared moments that sail home with our guests.”
Holiday Traditions Across the Fleet

The seasonal program varies depending on the ship. Sphere Class and Royal Class ships will feature a Tree Lighting Celebration with performances by the full cast, while other ships will host a more intimate Festive Tree Lighting with vocalists.
The festive calendar also includes Merry Moments and “Let it Snow” experiences on selected ships, with snow in the Piazza and other seasonal surprises. Guests can take part in Holly Jolly Sweater Parties, holiday silent discos, candlelight concerts and festive singalongs.
Families can join the Festive Family Faire, featuring arts and crafts and a holiday family flair night, while Gingerbread House Making provides another hands-on seasonal activity. Younger guests can also meet Stanley during special storytime sessions.
On Star Princess and Sun Princess, Piazza Magical Moments combine falling snow with seasonal scenes displayed on the ships’ LED screens. Holiday movies will be shown through Movies Under the Stars and in staterooms, while special menus will include seasonal cooking demonstrations, turkey carving, holiday cookies, cocktails and hot chocolate stations.
Princess Cruises is also planning religious observances as part of its holiday programming, allowing guests to mark the season while sailing away from home.
Holiday cruises for 2027 are already available for travelers planning further ahead.
