Holland America Line is enhancing its Norway cruise programme for 2027 by adding two of the country’s most iconic fjord destinations to five sailings aboard Rotterdam. The updated itineraries include calls at Flåm and Hellesylt, giving guests even more opportunities to experience Norway’s dramatic scenery and world-renowned fjords.
The addition of Flåm opens the door to the breathtaking Nærøyfjord, while Hellesylt serves as the gateway to the spectacular Storfjord region and nearby Geirangerfjord. Both the Nærøyfjord and Geirangerfjord are recognised as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and are considered among the world’s most outstanding fjord landscapes.

“Northern Europe continues to be one of our most sought-after cruise regions, with cruising the Norwegian fjords ranking among our guests’ most desired experiences,” said Paul Grigsby, Vice President of Deployment and Revenue Planning at Holland America Line. “By adding Flåm and Hellesylt to these itineraries, we’re giving guests even more opportunities to experience the incredible scenery, rich history and unforgettable landscapes that make this part of the world so special. From sailing through the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord and riding the iconic Flåmsbana Railway through Norway’s mountains to exploring the dramatic waterfalls and viewpoints of the Storfjord region, these additions bring guests closer to some of the country’s most extraordinary experiences.”
Three seven-day departures, sailing on 30 May, 27 June and 1 August 2027, combine visits to Oslo, Kristiansand, Sandnes (Stavanger) and Flåm with scenic cruising through the Sognefjord and Oslofjord. Two additional departures, on 25 July and 8 August 2027, focus on the heart of Norway’s fjord country with calls at Eidfjord, Hellesylt, Ålesund and Bergen, complemented by scenic cruising through Hardangerfjord and Storfjord.
