From 27 to 31 May 2027, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will once again transform its small luxury ship into the stage for “Gatsby Nights at sea” — an exclusive short cruise along the Côte d’Azur that combines the glamour of the Roaring Twenties with contemporary luxury cruising.
When champagne meets the rhythm of the sea and the Côte d’Azur shines in spring light, guests can expect more than a classic cruise. Following the successful debut in 2026 and overwhelmingly positive guest feedback, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is relaunching “Savoir vivre on the Côte d’Azur – with Gatsby Nights at sea”, inviting travellers to experience a stylish escape where glamour, culture and culinary excellence come together once again.

Five ports and a long weekend of Riviera glamour
Over four days, guests will sail along the Côte d’Azur and Italian Riviera, visiting some of the Mediterranean’s most iconic destinations. In Portofino, Mediterranean architecture and timeless elegance create the backdrop for a destination long associated with international high society.
The journey continues to St. Tropez, Cannes, Nice and Saint-Florent in Corsica — places celebrated for their unmistakable savoir vivre and enduring appeal among artists, creatives and international icons, both in the 1920s and today. A late departure in Cannes, with time in port until midnight, offers guests the opportunity to enjoy the Boulevard de la Croisette and discover the city into the evening hours.
Gatsby Nights: when an era comes to life
The highlight of the cruise will once again be the immersive celebration of the Roaring Twenties. For one evening, Deck 4 aboard EUROPA will be transformed into an elegant Gatsby-inspired club where feathers, pearls and champagne set the scene for a sophisticated journey back in time.
Guests will enter a world where music, design and cuisine merge into a curated experience inspired by the spirit of the 1920s. Rather than a traditional entertainment programme, the concept creates an immersive atmosphere — contemporary, elegant and filled with effortless joie de vivre.
