Celebrity Cruises is giving its Captain’s Club loyalty program a major refresh. Starting June 11, 2026, the premium cruise line will introduce new milestone rewards, expanded benefits for existing members and, for the first time, two additional recognition levels above the coveted Zenith status.
The changes are designed to reward Celebrity’s most loyal guests more quickly and more often. Until now, new benefits mainly appeared when members reached the next loyalty tier. For frequent cruisers, that often meant years of collecting points with little change to their benefits package. Under the new approach, members will also be rewarded along the way as they reach specific Club Point milestones.
How Does Captain’s Club Work?
Captain’s Club operates with Club Points, earned based on the number of nights sailed and the selected stateroom or suite category. The higher the accommodation category, the faster points accumulate and the faster guests move up through the loyalty levels.
That makes accommodation choice an important factor: a longer sailing in a standard stateroom earns fewer points than a shorter cruise in a higher suite category.
From next year onward, sailings with Celebrity River Cruises will also count toward point accumulation, giving guests even more opportunities to build status.

Because points are awarded per night sailed, guests who cruise frequently or stay in suites can progress through the tiers relatively quickly.
From Preview to Zenith: Captain’s Club Today
Captain’s Club currently consists of several status levels that unlock progressively more benefits.
Everyone starts as a Preview member, with access to the Captain’s Club Loyalty Desk and updates about new benefits, promotions and program news.
From the first earned points, guests move into Classic status, which includes access to the onboard Welcome Event and exclusive offers during their cruise.
Select members receive additional benefits such as special wellness pricing and laundry offers.
At Elite level, the program becomes noticeably more valuable, with benefits including complimentary laundry, extra spa perks and access to the exclusive Captain’s Club Cocktail Hour.
For frequent travelers, Elite Plus represents an important milestone. Starting at 750 points, benefits already include specialty dining discounts, two complimentary laundry bags per cruise and additional onboard privileges.
The highest official tier today is Zenith, reached at 3,000 Club Points. Members receive a Premium beverage package, Premium Wi-Fi, complimentary laundry and access to The Retreat Lounge (formerly Michael’s Club).
Celebrity is now building directly on top of that existing structure.
New Benefits From 1,500 and 2,250 points
The biggest change is not new status levels, but additional rewards between existing ones.
Elite Plus members reaching 1,500 Club Points will receive 480 minutes of Premium Wi-Fi — double the amount currently included. They will also enjoy a 20% discount at specialty restaurants, one complimentary professional photo and an exclusive in-room surprise during their milestone sailing.
At 2,250 points, the package expands again. Included Premium Wi-Fi increases to 720 minutes, specialty dining discounts rise to 25%, and guests receive two complimentary professional photos.
One of the most noticeable additions is Extend Your Stay. Where available, guests will be able to remain onboard on disembarkation day and continue using ship facilities until 90 minutes before the next sailing departs.
Instead of waiting years for the next tier, members now receive additional rewards throughout the journey.
Zenith Remains Exclusive — But No Longer the Finish Line
Zenith members will also see improvements.
In addition to existing benefits, members will receive extra rewards including 35% off specialty dining, three complimentary professional photos and a surprise amenity during their milestone sailing.
What makes this update particularly notable is that Zenith had long been considered the final destination of Captain’s Club. With the introduction of new recognition levels, Celebrity is creating fresh goals for its most loyal guests.
Double Zenith begins at 6,000 points and adds additional specialty dining experiences and celebration perks.
Triple Zenith arrives at 9,000 points and introduces perhaps the line’s most eye-catching loyalty reward yet: a complimentary seven-night Bermuda or Caribbean sailing in a Sky Suite, plus additional dining privileges.

Part of a Broader Loyalty Strategy
The Captain’s Club expansion is part of a wider loyalty strategy across Royal Caribbean Group’s three cruise brands: Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International and Silversea.
Through Points Choice, guests can apply points earned with one brand toward the loyalty program of their choice, helping them build status faster where they prefer to sail.
The previously introduced Loyalty Status Match program also remains in place. Members of Captain’s Club, Crown & Anchor Society and Venetian Society can receive equivalent status recognition across the three brands.
That means loyal guests can keep many of their benefits even when switching between large ocean ships, premium cruises and luxury sailings.
Why This Update Stands Out
With this refresh, Celebrity addresses one of the weaknesses of traditional loyalty programs: long periods without meaningful new rewards.
Where frequent cruisers previously spent years between Elite Plus and Zenith without many changes, the new milestone structure introduces rewards along the way.
At the same time, Celebrity is keeping all existing benefits and adding entirely new recognition levels beyond Zenith — something still relatively rare among cruise loyalty programs.
For occasional cruisers, little changes for now. But for guests who sail regularly with Celebrity, the path to Zenith — and beyond — has become significantly more rewarding.
With this update, Captain’s Club evolves from a program focused mainly on end goals into one that recognizes loyalty throughout the journey.
