With the introduction of Elegant, VidantaWorld Voyages marks a spectacular debut in European waters. The renowned Mexican resort group translates its decades of expertise in high-end hospitality into a completely new category: the ultra-yacht. From April through October 2026, and returning from May through September 2027, Elegant offers a portfolio of seven-night itineraries designed to experience the Mediterranean in an immersive and unhurried way. The vessel embodies a future defined by space, beauty, ease, and deeply personalized service.
A deliberate choice for extreme space
The most striking feature of Elegant is Vidanta’s radical decision to drastically limit the ship’s capacity. While the vessel was originally designed to accommodate more than 600 guests, it now welcomes just 216 travelers. This choice to prioritize space over capacity is at the heart of every aspect on board. The result is an environment where spaciousness is inherent to the entire experience, from the expansive personal accommodations to the numerous, grand lounges.
The design eliminates the typical bottlenecks, queues, and congestion characteristic of conventional cruises. Instead, a sense of openness and natural flow is created across every deck. Public areas are grand in scale and the deck space is magnificent, creating a sense of tranquility and freedom of movement that is rare even on the smallest luxury ships in the Mediterranean.
Residential luxury and personal butlers
The accommodations on board feel like private residences with their residential proportions and modern styling. Choice materials, refined textures, and a calming aesthetic have been selected throughout. For guests in the highest categories, such as the Governor’s and Presidential Suites, comfort goes a step further with additional bathrooms – ideal for entertaining guests – and even two full bathrooms in the top-tier suites.

About one-third of the accommodations enjoy the services of a personal butler. These professionals are formally trained by the British Butler Institute, one of the world’s most respected authorities in refined personal service. The butlers provide discrete and anticipatory attention that elevates every aspect of the journey, creating an intuitive hospitality that is rarely achievable at sea.
Resort-caliber dining and entertainment
Elegant functions as a floating luxury resort where the culinary experience is central. A conscious choice was made for a reimagined approach without a traditional main dining room. Instead, guests can choose from three unique restaurants: Montelimar featuring Mediterranean cuisine, Guō for Asian fusion, and Flor de Agave for high-end Mexican specialties. Additionally, eight different bar and lounge concepts are distributed throughout the ship, ensuring guests are never far from a relaxed place to gather.
The entertainment on board is intentionally intimate and ambient. Live music is woven into the ship’s atmosphere, from the piano in Mosaico to open-air jazz sessions. The evening brings a shift in mood with signature performances in the Amura Lounge and themed parties on the pool deck under the stars. With multiple venues active simultaneously, guests move through the day at their own pace, without any sense of constraint or crowds.
A stern marina and wellness

Life on board follows a natural rhythm. The day begins with wellness on the Pure Sky Deck and unhurried hours around the pool. For those seeking direct contact with the sea, Elegant features a marina deck on deck 2. Here, guests find a bar and an inflatable platform providing direct access to the sea for a refreshing swim or relaxation in the sun.
The wellness experience at the Nel Vento Spa & Beauty Salon mirrors that of an exclusive land-based resort. With four treatment rooms, a Technogym-equipped fitness center, a yoga and stretch studio, and separate saunas, everything is focused on true restoration. Thanks to the spacious layout, there is no sense of crowding or scheduling pressure.
The Mediterranean at an unhurried pace
The itineraries of Elegant are designed for travelers who value how they experience Europe as much as the destination itself. Sailing seven-night itineraries beginning April 11, 2026, and operating through October 2, 2026 – including an inaugural voyage departing from Funchal, Madeira – the ship offers a new way to explore the region. The schedule returns from May through September 2027.
The planning emphasizes overnight stays and late departures, allowing the region to be explored in greater depth. A unique advantage is the availability of tenders on demand. This allows guests to discover destinations beyond peak hours, such as enjoying a seaside dinner after dark or taking an evening promenade while most tourists have already had to return to their ships.
The result is travel as it is meant to be: relaxed, immersive, and richly textured. Whether it is the French Riviera, the Spanish Coast, the Greek Islands, or the Adriatic Sea, Elegant provides the flexibility and high-end experience today’s luxury traveler seeks.
