The wait is finally over for cruise enthusiasts and design aficionados. As Norwegian Luna sets sail towards the United States, we are bringing you an exclusive first look on board this new masterpiece through its official architectural debut. These visuals offer a comprehensive journey through a ship that redefines modern maritime design, seamlessly blending next-generation innovation with the ultimate freedom of the seas.
A Modern Architectural Marvel Debuts

Norwegian Luna introduces a bold and sophisticated aesthetic where every space on board has been thoughtfully curated to ensure a vacation experience that is flexible and easy to enjoy. Marc Kazlauskas, President of NCL, describes the ship as the true definition of the NCL experience, placing a heavy emphasis on wide-open outdoor spaces that bring guests closer to the ocean than ever before.
The first reveal of the top decks showcases a playground of high-tech entertainment. This includes the Aqua Slidecoaster, an IAAPA award-winning hybrid between a waterslide and a rollercoaster that winds around the ship’s funnel for a gravity-defying adrenaline rush. Nearby, the Luna Midway and Moon Climber introduce a vibrant, amusement-park-style outdoor area. From carnival-inspired games to a multi-level obstacle course, these spaces are designed specifically with multigenerational family travel in mind.

For those seeking a slower pace, Horizon Park offers a lush, complimentary recreational area featuring lawn-style games perfect for relaxation under the sun.

Luxury Accommodations from Modern Staterooms to Prestigious Suites
The interior reveal provides a detailed look at the diverse accommodation options available on board. Norwegian Luna features a wide array of options, ranging from sleek solo studios and inside rooms to expansive balcony staterooms that maximize natural light.

For travelers seeking the absolute pinnacle of luxury, The Haven by Norwegian – the exclusive ship-within-a-ship concept – has been further refined. This enclave offers the most prestigious suites on board, where residents enjoy a private restaurant, lounge, bar, and sundeck, all complemented by NCL’s signature personalized butler and concierge service.
A Global Culinary and Entertainment Destination

The architectural design of the specialty restaurants sets a sophisticated stage for NCL’s famous “freestyle dining.” This global culinary journey ranges from the vibrant Thai-inspired flavors of Sukhothai and authentic Italian dishes at Onda by Scarpetta to the elegant French fare at Le Bistro and the signature Cagney’s Steakhouse. The Indulge Food Hall remains a centerpiece of the ship, offering an array of international flavors in a modern, marketplace setting that encourages discovery.
On the entertainment front, the ship will debut high-value productions including “Elton: A Celebration of Elton John” and the multimedia acrobatic wonder “HIKO: Innovation Meets Wonder.” When it is time for relaxation, guests can retreat to the two-story Mandara Spa, which features a tranquil Thermal Suite with stunning 180-degree ocean views.
Setting Sail for the Caribbean and Beyond

Following her arrival in Miami and her official Christening ceremony on March 27, 2026, Norwegian Luna will begin her inaugural Caribbean season. Her itineraries include calls to Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, and NCL’s private paradise, Great Stirrup Cay. The island itself has recently debuted several enhancements to welcome the new ship, including a new pier and tram service, the Great Life Lagoon, and the adults-only Vibe Shore Club. Looking ahead to summer 2026, the Great Tides Waterpark will open on the island, featuring 19 waterslides and a 9,000-square-foot splash area.
Looking even further into the future, Norwegian Luna will make her mark in New York City starting in April 2027. From this iconic port, she will offer four- to seven-day Bermuda voyages featuring overnight stays at the Royal Naval Dockyard, continuing her legacy as a leader in innovative travel.
