Azamara Cruises Announces $80 Million Fleetwide Transformation

Azamara Cruises has officially announced Azamara Forward, an enhancement program across its fleet representing the most extensive renovations and refurbishments in the company’s history. Over the next four years, the cruise line will invest $80 million to treat its four-ship fleet to an expansive makeover, revitalizing vessels that have each served travelers for at least 25 years. This visionary project is designed to thoughtfully elevate the onboard experience while honoring the Destination Immersion hallmarks that define the brand. By listening to the feedback of guests and travel partners, Azamara is modernizing its fleet into a series of contemporary sanctuaries, ensuring these beloved ships reach their maximum potential as the core of the brand’s future. mamaj495free lil_midgetbaddie leaks

Azamara is modernizing its fleet into a series of contemporary sanctuaries

“Azamara Forward is Azamara Cruises’ vision for thoughtfully elevating the onboard experience while honoring the hallmarks that have long defined the brand,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, CEO of Azamara Cruises. “This transformation reflects years of listening to our guests and travel partners and an extraordinary amount of creativity and collaboration across our teams. From the new Panorama and Grandview Suites aboard Azamara Quest to reimagined dining and ship-wide enhancements across our fleet, Azamara Forward is designed to deepen destination immersion, elevate comfort, and create even more meaningful moments at sea. It’s celebrating our heritage while introducing new experiences to take us into the future.”

The journey of transformation begins with the Azamara Quest, which serves as the natural choice to debut the program’s most ambitious elements ahead of her highly anticipated 2027 World Cruise. The Quest will enter the Onex Elefsis shipyard in Piraeus, Greece, on October 31, 2026, for a 26-day drydock. While the ship resumes operations on November 26, the full suite of enhancements will officially debut on the December 18 holiday sailing from Miami. This fleetwide rollout continues with the Azamara Onward in 2027, with the Azamara Journey and Azamara Pursuit following through 2029, ensuring a consistent standard of excellence across the entire fleet.

New Penthouse Deck for Azamara Quest

Exclusively aboard the Azamara Quest, the program introduces an entirely new Penthouse Deck on Deck 11. This structural addition features 12 all-new premier suites, including the “crown jewels” of the fleet: two Panorama Suites. At 719 square feet, these are the largest accommodations in the company’s history, offering 270-degree views from forward-facing corners, separate living and dining areas, and walk-in closets. These top-tier retreats accommodate up to four guests and earn 18 loyalty points per night.

Joining them are ten 303-square-foot Grandview Suites, which offer floor-to-ceiling ocean views and dual-sink bathrooms with spacious walk-in showers. To preserve the ship’s beloved social spaces, a brand-new Sun Deck will be created on Deck 12, maintaining an inviting open-air sanctuary for spectacular sail-away moments.

Reimagined Dining and Social Hubs

Culinary and social experiences are also at the heart of the Azamara Forward evolution. A newly dedicated Chef’s Table restaurant will debut on Deck 10, replacing the traditional Drawing Room with an intimate, panoramic space. This venue will host twice-nightly themed dinners for 18 guests, alongside the Acamar Experience – an exclusive, invitation-only dinner for guests in top-tier suites. Formerly known as the “Best of the Best” dinner, the Acamar Experience has been reimagined as a 34-passenger culinary event, allowing for greater frequency and intimacy.

Additionally, the popular Atlas Bar concept will be recrafted and introduced fleetwide. Positioned next to the Discoveries Restaurant, the bar will transform into a central destination hub with extended hours until 11 p.m., now allowing guests to enjoy a range of complimentary beverages alongside premium craft cocktails.

Creating the Contemporary Sanctuary

Every guest space across the fleet is being revitalized to create a “calming, sophisticated sanctuary.” One hundred percent of staterooms and suites will be upgraded with new furniture, plush carpets, and soft bedding in a light palette inspired by the sea and sky. Practical modernizations include the addition of bedside USB and mini-USB outlets, while all bathrooms will feature new, heavy-material curtains to enhance comfort. Public spaces are receiving equally meticulous attention: the Discoveries Restaurant will feature a complete redesign for better sightlines; the Cabaret Lounge will debut a “wow factor” entrance and new stage technology for ten original production shows; and The Sanctum Spa will be modernized with redesigned treatment rooms and a new couples massage suite. Even public restrooms are being renewed to ensure that every detail reflects Azamara’s commitment to thoughtful design and warm hospitality.
