PRINCESS CRUISES LAUNCHES NEW SCENIC ANTARCTIC VOYAGES FOR 2026-27 SEASON

Princess Cruises has unveiled its new 2026-27 South America and Antarctica cruise season. These all-new voyages feature dramatic landscapes, vibrant cultures, and rare wildlife encounters – delivered in the comfort and elegance of the Royal-Class Majestic Princess, debuting in the region for the first time.

A proud member of the International Association of Antarctic Tour Operators (IAATO), Princess Cruises ensures sustainable, responsible travel to one of the world’s most fragile ecosystems. The 3,560-guest Majestic Princess now leads the way in delivering once-in-a-lifetime expeditions through the untouched Antarctic Peninsula, while also offering immersive experiences across South America’s most iconic cities.

“Our award-winning itineraries to South America and Antarctica highlight a place of raw beauty where Mother Nature truly shines,” said Terry Thornton, Princess Cruises Chief Commercial Officer. “From the natural wildlife, rugged coastlines and unique culture, the ultimate highlight of our upcoming 2026-27 cruise season is our return to Antarctica where we offer our guests the rare chance to visit one of the most remote and awe-inspiring places on earth.”

New scenic cruising experiences

In a first for Princess Cruises, the 2026-27 season includes scenic cruising through the Beagle Channel Fjords and Glacier Alley, revealing cascading tidewater and hanging glaciers that flow down from the Darwin Mountain Range. These breathtaking passages offer some of the most dramatic natural spectacles on Earth, all visible from the decks of Majestic Princess.

Breathtaking natural wonders

The voyage includes scenic cruising through the Beagle Channel Fjords, the dramatic Glacier Alley, and the windswept shores of Cape Horn and Tierra del Fuego—known as the edge of the world.

A region alive with culture

South America vibrates with rhythm and color. From Brazil’s samba beats to the sensual tango of Argentina and Uruguay, each port pulses with personality. Guests can enjoy a caipirinha on a sun-soaked beach, savor legendary Argentine steak, or sip fine Chilean wines. Iconic landmarks include Christ the Redeemer in Rio and La Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires – final resting place of the legendary Eva Perón.
