All Aboard: Oceania Cruises – Where Luxury Meets the Finest Cuisine at Sea

Step aboard a world where elegance, discovery, and refined cuisine define every journey. Oceania Cruises blends small-ship intimacy with global exploration, offering more than just travel – it offers an experience.

Oceania Cruises is a world-renowned luxury cruise line celebrated for its blend of refined luxury, culinary excellence, and immersive itineraries. Since its founding in 2002, the company has focused on offering guests small-ship sophistication with a destination-rich approach, making it especially popular among travelers who value culture, cuisine, and comfort.

The cruise line invites guests aboard a fleet of eight luxury ships. The Regatta-class vessels – Regatta, Insignia, Nautica, and Sirena – carry just over 650 guests each and provide the intimate feel of a boutique hotel at sea. The larger Oceania-class ships, Marina and Riviera, accommodate around 1,250 passengers while maintaining an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. The newest and most innovative additions are the Allura-class ships: Vista, launched in 2023, and Allura, which entered service in July 2025. Each welcomes about 1,200 guests and introduces next-generation design, spacious all-veranda accommodations, and new dining concepts such as Ember and The Crêperie.

At the heart of Oceania’s identity is its cuisine. Branded as offering “The Finest Cuisine at Sea,” the line has long been guided by the vision of Master Chef Jacques Pépin. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of gourmet specialty restaurants, all included in the cruise fare, ranging from Italian and Asian to classic French and American steakhouse dining. Cooking schools, wine tastings, and food-focused shore excursions further enrich the culinary journey.

Equally defining are Oceania’s itineraries, which span more than 450 ports across all seven continents. Longer port calls and overnight stays allow deeper immersion in destinations, from the cultural capitals of Europe to the remote wonders of Asia, Africa, and the South Pacific.

Looking ahead, Oceania is preparing for a bold new chapter with the introduction of the Sonata class. The first ship, Sonata, will debut in 2027, followed by Arietta in 2029, with two more to follow in 2032 and 2035. These larger vessels, accommodating around 1,400 guests, will expand the brand’s reach while preserving its hallmark commitment to culinary artistry and personalized service.
