The official launch of Adora Cruises Limited in November 2022 marked a historic shift in the global maritime industry. Formerly known as CSSC Carnival Cruise Shipping Limited, the company rebranded in June 2023 to align its corporate identity with its vision of building a leading homegrown Chinese cruise line. - Adora Magic City: China’s first domestically built large cruise ship (136,200 GT) made history with its maiden voyage on January 1, 2024. Operating from Shanghai, this “Smart City” at sea features 2,125 refined suites and kajuiten, offering a high-tech experience with 5G connectivity and AI-driven guest services.
- Adora Mediterranea: This newly upgraded “Art Ship” (the former Costa Mediterranea) entered service for Adora on September 30, 2023. After a refit in Singapore to receive its new livery, it now cruises year-round from Tianjin. It offers five- to seven-night itineraries to destinations like Fukuoka, Nagasaki, and Jeju Island.
- Adora Flora City: The future of the fleet is currently under construction. This second domestically built ship is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026 and is set to launch international routes from Nansha, Guangzhou.
