Starting May 1, 2025, Thailand will introduce the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) for all non-Thai travelers. This advanced system will replace the traditional paper arrival card and ensure faster, more efficient border control.
Thailand remains one of the most popular vacation destinations. To streamline the growing number of tourists, Thailand is focusing on digital innovation with the introduction of the Thailand Digital Arrival Card. The TDAC is part of Thailand’s broader strategy to modernize and digitize the immigration process. The system allows Thai authorities to process travelers more quickly and aligns with the global trend of digital travel solutions.
With the introduction of this new system, border control will not only be faster but also safer. The digitalization of the process will be centrally managed, resulting in fewer errors and smoother processing. The TDAC will serve as the digital replacement for the paper arrival card that travelers previously had to fill out.
How does it work?

Travelers must register online within three days prior to arrival in Thailand through the official website or by scanning the QR code above. During registration, details such as name, nationality, passport information, flight information, and the address of stay in Thailand will be requested. After successful registration, travelers will receive a confirmation email, which must be presented upon arrival in Thailand for verification.
