MSC Cruises makes full return to service

MSC Musica has resumed service in Italy. Musica is the 19th and final MSC Cruises ship to return to revenue operations.

MSC Cruises has been sailing since August 2020 making it one of the first cruise lines to welcome guests back during the pandemic.

The line resumed with limited operations in Europe. Over the past few months the cruise line has been gradually adding destinations and ships back into its active lineup..

With MSC Musica kicking off her summer program in the Eastern Mediterranean, all of the compnay’s 19 cruise ships are now in service again.

MSC Musica will offer week-long cruises to the Greek Islands and Italy through November. Passengers will be able to board the ship in Monfalcone and Bari before sailing to Santorini, Katakolon and Heraklion.

After her European summer season Musica will cross the Atlantic for her winter season in South America. From December the vessel will serve the Argentinean market. Departing from the Port of Buenos Aires the ship will offer cruises to Brazil and Uruguay.

MSC Musica originally entered service in 2006. She is the first of four ships in the Musica Class. The 92,400-ton cruise ship has 1,268 passenger cabins and can carry 2,550 passengers in double occupancy.

The ship features two outdoor pool decks, a large spa, a two-deck theater, a mini-golf course, a nightclub, a casino, a cigar room and several lounges and bars. Musica also features five different dining venues, including two main dining rooms and a Japanese specialty restaurant.
