Regent Seven Seas Cruises is bringing new ultra-luxury Christmas experiences to the Mediterranean during the 2026 holiday season. The cruise line introduces 56 new shore-based Christmas experiences and five multi-day land programmes focused on festive markets, local traditions and winter gastronomy.
The new experiences are available on selected itineraries aboard Seven Seas Navigator, Seven Seas Voyager and during the maiden voyage of Seven Seas Prestige. Guests can discover beautifully illuminated cities, historic Christmas markets and seasonal culinary traditions in destinations including Spain, Italy, France, Malta and Greece.
Several shore experiences are included as part of the cruise, while additional Regent Choice experiences are available from approximately $119 per guest. Travellers wishing to extend their festive journey can choose from five new land programmes before or after their cruise, with prices starting at approximately $2,399 per guest.
First Winter Season in the Mediterranean

The new programmes are part of Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ first full winter season in the Mediterranean. With these experiences, the cruise line responds to growing interest in winter voyages that combine culture, gastronomy and seasonal traditions.
“There is no better way to celebrate the holidays than with an ultra-luxury cruise from Regent,” said Wesley D’Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. According to him, the traditions and passion of the Mediterranean come fully to life during the festive season through these specially curated experiences.

On board, guests can also enjoy an elegant Christmas atmosphere that reflects Regent’s signature style. Festive decorations include spectacular Christmas trees, elaborate floral arrangements, handcrafted gingerbread villages and special menorah lighting ceremonies. Seasonal menus and festive performances complete the holiday experience.
Festive Land Programmes Before the Cruise
One of the new land programmes takes guests to Catalonia. The three-day Christmas in Catalonia programme allows travellers to experience the festive atmosphere of Barcelona, combining historic neighbourhoods, Christmas markets and authentic local traditions. A walk through the Gothic Quarter, visits to Montjuïc and Poble Espanyol, and an excursion to Girona blend culture with the charm of the Catalan holiday season.
This programme connects with the Southern Mediterranean Sojourn cruise aboard Seven Seas Navigator, departing from Barcelona on 7 December 2026 towards Rome.
A second programme, Christmas in Rome and Viterbo, introduces guests to the heart of Italy. Alongside Rome’s iconic landmarks, travellers discover the festive markets of Viterbo, Italian gastronomy and centuries-old holiday traditions.
For lovers of culture and wine, Regent offers Winter Magic in Tuscany. This exclusive journey explores Florence, the rolling hills of Val d’Orcia, the medieval town of Pienza and the Christmas market of Montepulciano. A wine tasting at La Cattedrale winery is one of the highlights before guests embark in Rome for their festive cruise.
New Christmas Experiences During Cruises

During the maiden voyage of Seven Seas Prestige, guests can enjoy Málaga’s Festive Christmas Celebration. This experience introduces travellers to Málaga’s illuminated historic centre, traditional nativity scenes and a private zambombada flamenco performance featuring Andalusian Christmas songs and local festive treats.
The Christmas market at Paseo del Parque is also part of this seasonal discovery.
On the itinerary of Seven Seas Voyager, guests can join Christmas Lights and Coastal Charm in Limassol. This walking experience combines beautifully illuminated landmarks with the historic character of the Cypriot port city. Highlights include Heroes’ Square, Agia Napa Cathedral, Limassol Castle and the modern marina.
Another memorable experience is Provençal Christmas and the Tradition of the 13 Desserts during the Southern Mediterranean Sojourn cruise. In Marseille, guests explore the historic Le Panier district, festive markets and the famous Marché aux Santons. At artisan pastry maker L’Espérantine, they taste traditional Provençal Christmas delicacies, including pompe à l’huile, nougat blanc, calissons d’Aix and navettes.
With these new Christmas experiences and land programmes, Regent Seven Seas Cruises combines the comfort of an all-inclusive luxury cruise with authentic seasonal discoveries ashore. Guests can experience Europe during the holidays in a unique way, surrounded by culture, gastronomy and festive traditions.
