
Princess Cruises has unveiled its biggest-ever Europe programme to date for 2028, with more cruises, more departure ports, and more itineraries than ever before. The season features 291 departures across 150 itineraries from 13 departure ports aboard six ships – Caribbean Princess, Regal Princess, Majestic Princess, Enchanted Princess, Sky Princess and Sun Princess.
Itineraries range from seven- to 53-night sailings, visiting 128 destinations in 37 countries, giving guests more ways to explore Europe. New for the season are Princess’ first calls to Galway and Killybegs, Ireland, as well as the debut of the new Pole to Pole Odyssey, an extended voyage linking Antarctica and the Arctic.
Culture, Immersion & Location Connection
Representing the largest Europe deployment in Princess history, the 2028 programme features 32 late-night calls or overnight stays that allow for deeper discovery as they offer more time to experience destinations after dark, when local culture is at its most vibrant.
In Northern Europe, late-night calls are featured in in popular cities such as Belfast, Amsterdam, Oslo, and Tallinn, with overnight stays in Stockholm, Hamburg, and Tromsø.
Late-night calls in Mediterranean destinations include Mykonos, Ibiza, Split, and Lisbon, alongside overnight calls in Istanbul and La Spezia.
Furthermore, Princess’ Europe itineraries go beyond traditional sightseeing, emphasising authentic cultural immersion through Princess Local Connections and elevated “Ultimate” shore excursions. Guests can engage directly with local people, traditions and cuisine through experiences designed with regional experts and backed by Princess Cruises’ Guaranteed Return to Ship promise.
New Itineraries

The 2028 programme includes 25 ‘Grand Adventure’ itineraries, combining transatlantic and open-jaw voyages to create longer, more distinctive travel experiences.
Among them is the new 53-night ‘Ultimate Pole-to-Pole Odyssey’, onboard Majestic Princess, sailing from Buenos Aires to Southampton which departs 24 January 2028. The voyage includes calls at Punta Arenas, Ushuaia, the Antarctic Peninsula (Scenic Cruising), the Falkland Islands, Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Casablanca, La Coruna, Tromsø (overnight), Alta, Trondheim, Alesund, Bergen, and Stavanger.
Also new for 2028 is an 8-night Circle Ireland itinerary. Departing on 8 June and 27 July 2028, Caribbean Princess sails roundtrip Southampton, calling at Falmouth, Cork (Cobh), Dublin (Dún Laoghaire), Belfast, Killybegs, and Galway.
Northern Europe

Princess Cruises’ 2028 Northern Europe season offers guests the chance to experience some of the region’s most striking landscape and culturally rich cities, from Arctic scenery and Icelandic natural wonders to the historic capitals of the Baltics. The programme includes 102 departures across 63 itineraries.
Voyages range from seven to 49 nights, including flexible open-jaw combinations for multi-week cruise options linking the UK, Scandinavia, and Iceland.
Regal Princess sails 12-night Baltic itineraries roundtrip Copenhagen, Majestic Princess sails roundtrip Southampton around the British Isles and to Norway and Iceland, whilst Caribbean Princess sails open-jaw itineraries between Copenhagen, Helsinki, Reykjavik, and Southampton.
Guests can explore more than 40 UNESCO World Heritage Sites across Northern Europe, such as the Giant’s Causeway (Belfast), Thingvellir National Park (Reykjavik), Kronborg Castle (Copenhagen), and historic sites such as Old Town Tallinn and the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh.
The Mediterranean

Princess Cruises’ 2028 Mediterranean season brings together many of Europe’s most sought-after destinations, from the Greek Isles and Adriatic coast to the cultural capitals of Italy, Spain and Turkey. With 165 departures across 63 itineraries, and seven homeports including Naples, Istanbul, and Trieste, guests can explore the region in a way that suits them, with voyages ranging from seven to 35 nights.
Sun Princess sails 7-, 14-, and 21-night Mediterranean voyages departing from Barcelona, Civitavecchia, and Piraeus, Enchanted Princess offers a variety of itineraries ranging in length from 10- to 35-nights, whilst Caribbean Princess sails 10-, 11- or 21-night itineraries between Piraeus and Civitavecchia. Also included in the programme are four 14-night Mediterranean itineraries sailing roundtrip Southampton on Sky Princess.
Sailings from Southampton
Southampton remains a key getaway in Princess Cruises’ 2028 programme with Sky Princess and Majestic Princess homeported there for the season and offering itineraries across Northern Europe, the British Isles, and the Mediterranean. Caribbean Princess also sails 19 open-jaw itineraries from Southampton.
In total, 41 itineraries from Southampton are available in the 2028 programme sailing from late April through to mid-October 2028.
