Aman at Sea Prepares for Amangati Launch Following Float Out

Heralding a significant milestone for the future of luxury yachting, Aman at Sea has officially reached the next phase of construction for its inaugural vessel, Amangati. On December 17, 2025, the ship’s hull arrived in the Port of Genoa following a week-long voyage from San Giorgio di Nogaro, Italy. Now moored at the T. Mariotti shipyard, the vessel is set to undergo extensive final outfitting over the coming months in preparation for its grand delivery and debut in 2027.

A joint venture between Aman Group and Cruise Saudi, Amangati – a name derived from the Sanskrit for “peaceful motion” – is designed to translate the brand’s signature ultra-private sanctuary philosophy to the open water. The 183-meter (600ft) vessel, envisioned by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, prioritizes space and seclusion by accommodating just 94 guests across 47 spacious suites. Each of these accommodations is designed as a private retreat with its own balcony, including the flagship Aman Suite, which features a private lift and a personal massage room.

The onboard experience is set to establish a new standard for waterborne voyages by mirroring the tranquility and best-in-class amenities of Aman’s terrestrial resorts. Wellness is a central pillar of the design, anchored by an expansive Aman Spa that includes a Japanese garden, yoga and meditation spaces, a 16-meter pool deck, and a horizon-facing whirlpool. Culinary and social needs are met through four distinct international dining concepts – including the signature Japanese restaurant Nama and the Aman Grill – complemented by a sophisticated Jazz Club for evening harmony. For recreation and access, the ship features an expansive Beach Club and marina at the stern for direct sea access, as well as two helipads for seamless private arrivals and airborne adventures.

Reflecting a commitment to modern technology and the environment, the vessel is equipped with a hybrid dual-fuel power system designed to minimize emissions and noise. Amangati will officially launch from the Mediterranean for the 2027 summer season, offering curated itineraries through the French and Italian Rivieras, the Greek Isles, and the Spanish coastline. The yacht will be available for both individual suite bookings and full private charters for exclusive events.

For those seeking the Aman way of life at sea, reservations for these debut Mediterranean voyages are scheduled to open in early 2026.
