Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed the Farewell Season of the iconic Seven Seas Navigator, with three special voyages scheduled between August and October 2026. These celebratory sailings will mark the final chapter for the beloved all-suite ship, offering guests unforgettable experiences at sea filled with tributes, entertainment, and nostalgic moments.
Launched in 1999 as part of The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet, Seven Seas Navigator accommodates just 496 guests with 365 crew members, ensuring one of the highest service ratios at sea. Guests enjoy all-suite accommodations, world-class dining venues including Compass Rose, Prime 7, and Sette Mari at La Veranda, and all-inclusive luxury – from unlimited shore excursions to fine wines, premium spirits, Wi-Fi, valet laundry service, and world-class entertainment. The ship has long been admired for its elegance, intimate size, and award-winning service.

The Farewell Season will include surprise guest appearances, gala dinners, themed trivia, auctions of ship memorabilia, and engaging panel discussions, all designed to celebrate the ship’s rich legacy.
The final sailing, departing October 2, 2026, will be especially poignant, as it also marks the retirement of Ray Solaire, Regent’s much-loved cruise director, after nearly five decades at sea. This 14-night journey from Istanbul to Rome will be hosted by Regent’s Chief Commercial Officer Wes D’Silva and will feature a glamorous gala night, exclusive onboard events, and Ray Solaire’s final curtain call.
Honoring a Legendary Career: Ray Solaire’s Retirement
Known for his humor, warmth, and stage presence, Ray Solaire has spent 18 remarkable years with Regent and more than 50 years at sea. A natural entertainer from Blackpool, England, Ray’s career began as a child performer before expanding to stage, screen, and eventually the cruise industry, where he became a director in 1975. Over the decades, he has performed alongside icons such as Count Basie and Charlton Heston.
“Seven Seas Navigator holds a very special place in my heart. More than just a ship, she is home to countless memories and lifelong friends. I can’t think of a better goodbye than to celebrate this chapter alongside our wonderful team and loyal guests,” shared Ray Solaire.
Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer at Regent Seven Seas Cruises, added: “From the inaugural voyage in 1999, Seven Seas Navigator has embodied the timeless luxury and personalized service that defines Regent Seven Seas Cruises. As we celebrate her remarkable journey, we are equally proud to honor Ray Solaire, a treasured member of the Regent family, whose legacy will sail on for both guests and crew.”

A New Chapter: Seven Seas Navigator Becomes Crescent Seas Navigator
Although her time with Regent Seven Seas Cruises will come to a close in October 2026, the story of Seven Seas Navigator is far from over. Following her retirement from Regent the ship will embark on an exciting new journey as the first luxury residential vessel for Crescent Seas, an exclusive new brand redefining life and travel at sea.
Set to launch in December 2026, Crescent Seas is designed for travelers who desire the privacy of the yachting lifestyle with the sophistication of ultra-luxury cruising. The brand’s mission is to create the ultimate residence-at-sea community, where residents enjoy white-glove service, world-class dining, and immersive experiences – while calling the oceans of the world home.
The Navigator will undergo an extensive $50 million transformation to become Crescent Seas Navigator, featuring 210 private residences priced from $750,000 to $8 million. Each residence will include butler service and high-speed Starlink internet to accommodate remote work, education, and global connectivity.
Life onboard Crescent Seas Navigator will be tailored for long-term living, with itineraries featuring extended two- to three-day port stays for deeper cultural immersion. Crescent Seas also plans to expand its fleet with four additional residential ships over the next five years, marking the beginning of a new era in luxury world travel.
