Costa opens sales for 2024 cruises in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe

From Easter to the end of November, the ships of the Italian cruise line will offer wonderful cruise vacations in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.

Costa Cruises has presented its itineraries for 2024. These include cruises departing from Easter to the end of November next year, offering a wide choice of vacations in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe.

Western Mediterranean

Three ships will be sailing in the Western Mediterranean for week-long cruises visiting some of the most beautiful destinations in Italy, France and Spain: Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana, the latest generation sisterships, and Costa Pacifica. Costa Smeralda will depart from Genoa every Friday, starting March 22, to visit Marseille, Barcelona, Cagliari, Naples, and Civitavecchia/Rome. Costa Toscana, on the other hand, will be in Savona every Saturday, starting in late March, for an itinerary that will call at Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Palermo, and Civitavecchia/Rome. During the summer season, Palma will be replaced by Ibiza, one of the most beautiful and sought-after islands in the Mediterranean. Starting May 5, Costa Pacifica will depart from Savona every Sunday, exploring Civitavecchia/Rome, Ajaccio (Corsica), Palma de Mallorca, Valencia and Marseille, with La Spezia replacing Ajaccio in the fall.

Eastern Mediterranean

Costa Deliziosa will sail in the Eastern Mediterranean, with an itinerary that includes Marghera/Venice, Bari, the beautiful Greek islands of Santorini, Mykonos, and Katakolon. Also confirmed are cruises from Taranto and Catania, bound for the Greek islands and Malta.

Northern Europe

During summer, three ships – Costa Favolosa, Costa Fascinosa and Costa Diadema – will sail in Northern Europe on cruises offering spectacular landscapes from a unique point of view. Costa Diadema will offer week-long cruises from Kiel, bound for Copenhagen and the Norwegian fjords. Costa Favolosa will offer four different itineraries, from Amsterdam, visiting Greenland, Iceland, England and Ireland, and the Lofoten Islands. Costa Fascinosa will be dedicated to 12-day cruises to the North Cape, and nine-day cruises to some of the most beautiful Baltic cities, such as Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn, and Riga.

Other exciting itineraries

For those with only a few days to spare, in spring and fall there are 3- and 4-day Western Mediterranean mini-cruises with Costa Pacifica and Costa Fascinosa. In autumn, with the Costa Diadema and Costa Favolosa, guests will travel the Mediterranean and beyond to visit the Canary Islands, with a two-week itinerary, or Lisbon or Morocco, with 10-day cruises. Not to be missed in spring is the Costa Fascinosa’s cruise to the Azores islands.

Around the World Cruise

The 2025 edition of the Around the World Cruise, onboard Costa Deliziosa, will circumnavigate the globe mostly in the Southern Hemisphere, visiting Tierra del Fuego, Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. For the first time, the departure will be in early December 2024, to enjoy the holiday season on a cruise. New Year’s Eve in Rio de Janeiro will be unforgettable, with the fireworks display from Copacabana Beach.

The opening sales of the 2024 itineraries also features the debut of a new system of cabins categorization according to their location, size, deck and proximity to common areas, which together with the ‘room selector’ will allow guests to choose their favorite cabin within each ship.
