MSC Opera to serve as floating hotel for football fans

MSC Opera will serve as a floating hotel during the upcoming FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The ship will offer 1,075 passenger cabins for visitors to Doha from 19 November to 19 December.

MSC Cruises has announced that MSC Opera will become a cruise ship hotel in Doha working in cooperation with Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy. The ship will be berthed ready to welcome visitors in the port from 19 November through to 19 December and will join MSC World Europa and MSC Poesia during this period.   

Doha will also host the naming ceremony of MSC World Europa on 13 November. The event will coincide with the official inauguration of the city’s brand new Grand Cruise Terminal. 

This new accommodation opportunity for football fans and visitors to Doha can be booked for a minimum of two nights through MSC Cruises or through a preferred travel agent.
